This section offers links to models and guidelines aimed at helping organisations implement and monitor social responsibility strategies.

Spanish Global Compact Network

The Global Compact is an international initiative launched by the United Nations. Its aim is to have organisations voluntarily commit to social responsibility by aligning their policies and strategies with ten principles in the areas of human rights, labour standards, environment and anti-corruption.

Global Reporting Initiative (GRI)

The Global Reporting Initiative (GRI) encourages organisations of all types to produce sustainability reports. GRI provides a comprehensive sustainability reporting framework that is widely used around the world. This framework, which includes reporting guidelines, sets out principles and indicators that organisations can use to measure and report on their economic, environmental, and social performance.

ISO 26000

The ISO (International Organisation for Standardisation) has developed the ISO 26000 standard, which provides voluntary guidance on social responsibility for all types of organisations, including guidelines on the integration and implementation of social responsibility.

SGE

The SGE 21 corporate standard (launched by FORETICA – Forum for the Evaluation of Ethical Management) is a social responsibility management system that allows organisations to voluntarily audit processes and achieve certification in ethical management and social responsibility.
